Vorizol 200 mg is an antifungal medicine. It treats fungal infections in the mouth (like thrush), lungs, esophagus, blood, and other areas. The medicine contains the active ingredient voriconazole, which destroys or stops the fungi’s growth, leading to infections. Voriconazole is given the treatment of patients (adults and children over the age of 2) with the following: – Invasive aspergillosis ( a type of fungal infection – Candidaemia (another type of fungal infection) – Severe invasive Candida infections when the fungus is resistant to fluconazole – Severe fungal infections caused by Scedosporium or Fusarium species (two species of fungi)
