Enapril HT 10+25 mg is a combination drug for treating high blood pressure and cardiac failure or post-myocardial infarction. It is used alone or with other drugs to treat heart ailments like congestive heart failure. This is one of the most popular drugs prescribed for treating hypertension. Enapril HT helps to control blood pressure when a single medication becomes ineffective. The drug works to reduce the chance of stroke and future heart attacks. Enapril contains Enalapril Maleate and Hydrochlorothiazide (Hctz), which belongs to the Angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors (ACE inhibitors) class. ACE is involved in converting Angiotensin-I into Angiotensin-II (a Vasoconstrictor).
