Corbis is used to treat: • Congestive heart failure (when your heart is not able to pump sufficiently to maintain the flow of blood in the body). • Chest pain (angina pectoris) and high blood pressure (hypertension). Each 5 mg Corbis tablet contains Bisoprolol as an active ingredient. It is used as a monotherapy or along with other drugs to treat heart failure. It protects the heart against too much activity. Bisoprolol blocks messages to the beta receptors of the heart that slow down heart activity. The reduction in heart activity has the effect of reducing blood pressure and also making chest pain less likely.
