Etodolac is the main active pharmaceutical ingredient present in the Etova tablet. This drug belongs to a group of medications known as a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory agent (NSAID). Etodolac is used to relieve pain from various conditions; it relieves painful conditions of the bone, joints and soft tissues, such as inflammatory arthritis or rheumatoid arthritis and advanced osteoarthritis. This drug consists of Etodolac. Etodolac exerts a lasting analgesic and an anti-inflammatory effect as it decreases the production of pain, stimulating chemicals that are prostaglandins by inhibiting the enzyme cyclooxygenase (COX).
