Farobact ER 300 mg is indicated in the treatment of the following infections: — Lower respiratory tract infections – e.g., pneumonia, acute bronchitis, pulmonary suppuration — Ear, nose, and throat infections – e.g., otitis externa, sinusitis, tympanitis — Genito-urinary infections – e.g., cystitis, pyelonephritis, prostatitis, seminal gland inflammation. — Upper respiratory tract infections – e.g., tonsilitis, pharyngitis — Skin and skin structure infections – e.g., pustular acne, lymphangitis, infective sebaceous cyst, contagious impetigo, suppurative nail inflammation, infective sebaceous cyst, secondary infection of external wounds or surgical wounds. In the treatment of severe bacterial infections, Faropenem works by killing the bacteria which can cause serious infections. It usually makes you feel better very quickly, but you should continue taking it as prescribed even if you feel better to ensure that all the bacteria are killed and do not become resistant.
