Foracort Rotacaps 6/200 mcg

Foracort Rotacps 200 mcg 6 mcg is prescribed for the long-term, twice-a-day maintenance treatment of asthma in patients twelve years of age. One of the active ingredients of Foracort Rotacaps is Formoterol fumarate, a long-acting beta2 agonist, which controls wheezing, breathing difficulties, and chest tightness. Foracort rotacaps also contain Budesonide, which helps to reduce inflammation in the airways and reduces the chances of worsening asthma symptoms. The combination drug is also used twice daily to maintain airflow obstruction in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), including emphysema and bronchitis. This medication is not intended to relieve symptoms of acute bronchospasm.
