Megapen 250 mg has two active ingredients, namely Ampicillin and Cloxacillin. Ampicillin and Cloxacillin is a combination of penicillin antibiotic medicine prescribed mainly to provide an extended line of effectiveness, particularly against penicillin-resistant infections. They both work by stopping the growth of bacteria.
