Melalite XL 15gm Cream

Melalite XL is a clinically proven combination of hydroquinone, tretinoin, and mometasone. This association has approved its effectiveness without significant side effects in patients with moderate to severe melasma. Melalite XL is advised to be used as a short-term treatment option for treating mild-to-moderate melasma skin issues. It reduces signs, blemishes, marks, and dark circles under the eyes. This formulation should always be combined with sun-avoidance measures by using good quality sunscreen lotion and wearing protective clothing (full-sleeved shirts and a wide-brimmed hat). Hydroquinone remains the most prescribed bleaching agent and is the gold standard for treating hyperpigmentation. Tretinoin acts on different levels: It facilitates pigment removal by accelerating skin cell turnover, enhances hydroquinone penetration through the skin, and protects from oxidation. The introduction of a mometasone (corticosteroid) is aimed at reducing inflammation as a side effect of both tretinoin and hydroquinone, but it also inhibits melanocyte metabolism.
