Olmesar A 5 20mg

Olmesar A-5+20 mg is a combination of Amlodipine Besylate, and Olmesartan especially formulated for the treatment of hypertension. It is an effective drug for increasing the ability to exercise and decrease the frequency of angina attacks. It is the most common drug that is recommended for the lower hypertension and treatment of angina or chest pain. Lowering the high blood pressure (Hypertension) helps prevent strokes, heart attacks and kidney problems. Amlodipine Besylate is a calcium channel blocker. It channels into the vascular tissues and cardiac muscle cells. By inhibiting the entry of calcium channels, it decreases the contractility of arterial smooth muscles and causes vasodilation. This leads to relaxation of blood vessels and helps in the smooth blood flow, hence lowering the overall BP. Olmesartan belongs to a group of medicines known as Angiotensin-II receptor antagonists. Angiotensin is the substances produced in the body and known to have adverse effects on blood flow by tightening the blood vessels. The Olmetec drug inhibits this action of Angiotensin, therefore relaxes your blood vessels. This helps lower your blood pressure.
