Pan 20 mg is a prescription medicine used for the treatment of stomach acid-related problems. The active ingredient Pantoprazole works by treating the symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), which include acid reflux and heartburn. GERD is a gastrointestinal problem in which the stomach acid flows back into your oesophagus. Pantoprazole belongs to a group of drugs that are known as proton pump inhibitors (PPI).
