Pirox 20 mg contains the active ingredient Piroxicam, which belongs to a group of medicines known as non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). This means it will help relieve pain, redness, swelling, and inflammation in the affected joints. Pirox is prescribed to treat symptoms caused by osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis (rheumatism of the spine). NSAIDs do not cure arthritis and will only help you if you continue to take them.
