Cialis Jelly contains Tadalafil.

Tadalafil is a medicine for men who have erectile dysfunction (ED), which means trouble getting or keeping an erection firm enough for sex. It is the same active ingredient that is in the well-known brand Cialis.

The special thing about tadalafil is how long it lasts. One dose can help for up to 36 hours, which is why some people call it "the weekend pill". This means you do not have to plan sex around the exact time you took it. In a low daily dose it is also used to ease the urine problems caused by an enlarged prostate.

This version is a soft, flavoured jelly in a small sachet. It is easy to swallow and you do not need water, and it may start working a little faster than a tablet.

What is it used for?

Erectile dysfunction in adult men
Symptoms of an enlarged prostate (benign prostatic hyperplasia, or BPH), such as a weak flow or needing to pass urine often

How does it work?

During sexual excitement, blood flows into the penis to make it hard. A natural chemical called PDE5 slowly stops this. Tadalafil blocks PDE5, so blood flows in more easily and the erection lasts. It also relaxes muscles in the prostate and bladder, which makes passing urine easier. You still need to be aroused for an erection to happen.

Read these points before you start. If any of them apply to you, talk to your doctor or pharmacist first.

Never take it if you use a nitrate medicine for chest pain (such as nitroglycerin/GTN spray or isosorbide) or recreational "poppers" (amyl nitrite). Together they can make your blood pressure drop to a dangerous level.
Do not take it if you use riociguat, a medicine for high blood pressure in the lungs.
Check with your doctor first if you have heart disease, have been told to avoid sex because of your heart, or had a heart attack or stroke in the last 6 months.
Tell your doctor if you have very low or uncontrolled high blood pressure, or liver or kidney problems.
Tell your doctor if you have an eye disease such as retinitis pigmentosa, or have ever suddenly lost sight in one eye.
Tell your doctor if your penis has an unusual shape (for example Peyronie's disease) or you have a condition that can cause long erections, such as sickle cell anaemia, leukaemia or multiple myeloma.
Tell your doctor if you have a bleeding problem or an active stomach ulcer.
Some medicines can raise the amount of this medicine in your blood, such as ritonavir and other HIV medicines, ketoconazole, itraconazole, clarithromycin and erythromycin. Alpha-blockers (for example doxazosin or tamsulosin) can make your blood pressure drop more.
Do not drink lots of alcohol or grapefruit juice with it. They can raise side effects like dizziness and low blood pressure.
It does not protect against pregnancy or sexually transmitted infections.
It is only for adult men aged 18 and over. It is not for women or children.
The usual highest dose in most countries is 20 mg a day. Some strengths sold (for example 40 mg to 80 mg) are higher than this. Only take a higher strength if a doctor has told you it is right for you.
Tell your doctor or pharmacist about every other medicine, vitamin or herbal product you use.
Keep this product out of the reach and sight of children.

Like all medicines, Cialis Jelly can cause side effects, but not everybody gets them.

Common side effects

Headache
Flushing (your face feels warm and looks red)
Stuffy or runny nose
Indigestion or upset stomach
Feeling dizzy
Back pain or aching muscles, usually 12 to 24 hours after a dose

These are usually mild and often get better as your body gets used to it. Tell your doctor if they bother you or do not go away.

Stop using it and get medical help straight away if you notice:

An erection that lasts longer than 4 hours (this can damage the penis if it is not treated quickly)
Sudden loss or dimming of sight in one or both eyes
Sudden loss of hearing, or ringing in the ears with dizziness
Chest pain, fainting or an uneven heartbeat during or after sex
Signs of an allergic reaction, such as swelling of the face, lips or tongue, a bad rash, or trouble breathing

This is not a complete list. If you notice anything unusual, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

Take one sachet at least 15 to 30 minutes before sex. The effect can last up to 36 hours.
Tear open the sachet and squeeze all of the jelly onto a spoon or straight into your mouth, then swallow.
Use one whole sachet as one dose, unless your doctor has told you otherwise.
You can take it with or without food.
Never take more than one sachet in 24 hours.

If you miss a dose: You only take this medicine when you need it, so you cannot really miss a dose. Never take two doses in one day.

If you use too much: Contact your doctor, a poison control centre or your local emergency number straight away, even if you feel fine. Take the pack with you.

How to store it: Keep the sachets in the box below 25°C (77°F), away from heat and sunlight. Do not use a sachet that is torn or swollen, or after the expiry date.

Will Cialis Jelly give me an erection without being turned on?: No. It only helps your body respond when you are sexually excited. Without arousal, nothing will happen.
Can I drink alcohol with Cialis Jelly?: A small drink is usually fine, but a lot of alcohol makes erections harder to get and raises the chance of dizziness and low blood pressure.
Is Cialis Jelly addictive?: No. It is not habit-forming. You can stop using it at any time.
How long does Cialis Jelly last?: One dose can help for up to 36 hours. This does not mean you will have an erection the whole time. It means your body can respond more easily when you are aroused during that time.
Does food affect Cialis Jelly?: No. Unlike some similar medicines, tadalafil works just as well with or without food.
