Zo 200 mg contains the active ingredient Ofloxacin, a synthetic broad-spectrum antimicrobial agent for oral administration. It is indicated for the treatment of adults with mild to moderate infections caused by susceptible strains of the designated microorganisms in the infections given below: — Acute bacterial exacerbations of chronic bronchitis — Community-acquired pneumonia — Uncomplicated skin and skin structure infections — Mixed infections of the urethra and cervix — Nongonococcal urethritis and cervicitis — Acute pelvic inflammatory disease — Uncomplicated cystitis — Complicated urinary tract infections — Prostatitis Ofloxacin is categorized under the class of antibiotics called fluoroquinolones. It does not cure infections caused by viruses, such as the common cold or flu, such as viral infections in the sinuses and lungs.
