5 reviews for Mebendazole (Vermox)
Vermox contains Mebendazole.
Mebendazole is a medicine for common worm infections of the gut, such as threadworm (pinworm), roundworm, whipworm and hookworm.
For threadworm, one chewable tablet is often enough, with a second dose 2 weeks later if needed.
What is it used for?
- Threadworm (pinworm)
- Roundworm, whipworm and hookworm
How does it work?
Mebendazole stops worms absorbing sugar, which they need for energy. The worms slowly die and pass out of the body in your stools.
