Gemtesa contains Vibegron.
Vibegron is a once-a-day medicine for an overactive bladder. It reduces sudden urges, frequent urination and leaks.
It works differently from older bladder medicines, so it is less likely to cause dry mouth and constipation.
What is it used for?
- Overactive bladder in adults
How does it work?
Vibegron activates beta-3 receptors in the bladder muscle, which relaxes it and lets the bladder hold more urine.
