4 reviews for Trihexyphenidyl (Artane)
Artane contains Trihexyphenidyl.
Trihexyphenidyl (also called benzhexol) is a medicine that eases stiffness, shaking and muscle spasms. It is used in Parkinson's disease and for movement side effects caused by some mental health medicines.
What is it used for?
- Parkinson's disease, mainly for tremor and stiffness
- Stiffness, shaking and spasms caused by antipsychotic medicines
How does it work?
Trihexyphenidyl blocks acetylcholine, a chemical messenger in the brain. In Parkinson's disease, there is too little dopamine and too much acetylcholine activity. Blocking acetylcholine helps restore the balance.

Tried this site for the first time and had a good experience. I got an order confirmation right away and updates after that. Honestly, finding the right item took very little time. I found the cost to be better than what I saw elsewhere.
