- Take one tablet as soon as the migraine headache starts. Swallow the regular tablet with water, or let the melt tablet dissolve on your tongue.
- The usual adult dose is 10 mg (5 mg if you take propranolol).
- If the migraine comes back, you can take a second dose at least 2 hours after the first.
- Do not take more than 20 mg in 24 hours.
If you miss a dose: This medicine is only taken when you have a migraine, so this does not apply.
If you use too much: Contact your doctor, a poison control centre or your local emergency number straight away, even if you feel fine. Take the pack with you.
How to store it: Keep it in its original pack at room temperature (below 25°C / 77°F), away from heat, damp and direct sunlight. Do not use it after the expiry date.
