- Wash your hands before and after using it.
- Put a thin layer on the sore and the skin around it about 5 times a day, roughly every 4 hours while you are awake.
- Use it for 5 days. If the sore has not healed, you can use it for up to 5 more days.
- Use a clean cotton bud to apply it if you prefer, to avoid spreading the virus to your fingers.
If you miss a dose: Apply it as soon as you remember, then carry on as normal. Do not use extra cream to make up.
If you use too much: If you accidentally swallow some cream, it is unlikely to cause harm, but contact a doctor or pharmacist for advice.
How to store it: Keep it in its original pack at room temperature (below 25°C / 77°F), away from heat, damp and direct sunlight. Do not use it after the expiry date.
